We made it!!! It’s the FINAL week of the 2010 Hughes Summer!
For the last time this year….Here’s the “411” for the week
Symposium Prep-
Regardless of your symposium presentation format, or other opportunities to practice, ALL scholars are expected to attend one practice session this week (8/3 or 8/4) and review their FINAL presentation with a grad student.
We’ll provide dinner in 216 Stimson Hall at 5pm, and then break out into practice rooms at 5:30pm.
Upcoming events:
*Monday, August 2nd –Panel on Scientific Information & Informed Consent- The Case of Henrietta Lacks, 206 Stimson Hall, 5pm – 7pm. We will have invited guest speakers join us to talk about the many different aspects of the book. Dinner will be provided.
*Tuesday, August 3rd – Symposium Practice Session #2. 5:00PM – 7:30PM, Stimson Hall.
*Wednesday, August 4th – Symposium Practice Session #2. 5:00pm- 7:30pm, Stimson Hall.
*Friday, August 6th– 3rd Annual Cornell Hughes Scholars Research Symposium. Invites were sent last week to all Biology faculty members, including your mentors. Please invite you friends and lab mates to join us as well.
